Radon Measurement Training

The Radon Division of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection, and the National Radon Safety Board lists TCS Industries Inc as a training resource for Initial Radon Measurements. The 8 hour home pre-study with our 2 day classroom program is designed to prepare candidates for the National Radon Measurements examination. Satisfactory completion of this course and the National exam are required for Pennsylvania Radon Measurement certification. The course was patterned after the US Environmental Protection Agency's training outline.

TCS is approved to provide 16 Continuing Education credits for Certified Radon Measurement persons who wish to renew their certification. The course is normally held in Harrisburg, PA . Classes are limited to 4 candidates to allow excellent instructor-student interaction. Inquiries for off-site course presentations are invited.

The course fee is $285.00*, and includes:

1.An extensive manual.

2.A pre-class study module.

3.A Q/A plan on CD designed to be customized in MS-Word.¹

NRSB national exam¹ is $125.00 (given day after course)

¹ A Q/A plan and the passing of a national exam are both a requirement of PA DEP Certification.
